Benidorm is one of the leading European cities in tourism. Its good climate throughout the year, its exquisite location, between the sea and the mountains and the white beaches of fine sand make it one of the most recognized tourist destinations in all of Europe.
One of the most visited destinations in Spain is Benidorm and its more than 5 kilometers of beaches. Located in the heart of the Costa Blanca, it is very popular for its enormous leisure offer, its vibrant days and its restless nights. A huge number of tourists explore its beaches every summer, enjoying the sun, swimming on its immense fine sand beaches and water sports.
Known as the “New York” of the Mediterranean, it has a huge number of skyscrapers, some of them located among the tallest buildings in Europe, close to the coast that give incredible views of the sea and mountains. From the “Terra Mítica” Theme Park to hiking through the Sierra Helada Natural Park, the activities that Benidorm proposes are complemented by an extensive tourist offer of all kinds.
As one of the best-known sun and beach places in Europe, it was expected that traveling to Benidorm would mean visiting the most emblematic corners of its coast. The Levante Beach, 2 kilometers long and surrounded by terraces and food places, and the Poniente Beach, 3 kilometers long, which, for more family tourism, is famous for its memorable evenings, are the most famous corners of this city that do not you should miss out on any visit to Benidorm.
In the surroundings, the Sierra Helada Natural Park offers small wild coves, such as Tio Ximo or Almadrava, with transparent waters perfect for snorkeling.
Benidorm always shows us another of its emblems, the Island of Benidorm, another spectacular place to practice diving on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
Within family tourism with children, we recommend spending the day in the “Terra Mítica” theme park, in the Aqualandia water park or in the Terra Natura or Mundomar zoos, while for the most curious there is the opportunity to delve into the chronicle of its sailor neighborhood wandering the stone streets of the city and enjoying unbeatable views from the Balcón del Mediterráneo viewpoint.
It is unavoidable to comment on night life, the basis for which several teenagers decide to carry out tourism in Benidorm. The “English region” and the Maritime Route of Playa Levante are several of the most frequented places when the sun goes down due to their enormous numbers of terraces and pubs.
